Operator Privacy Policy
How VOYUS collects, uses, and protects information you provide as a transportation operator on our marketplace.
Last updated: October 2025 ยท Effective immediately upon account creation or service listing.
Your business data belongs to your business. VOYUS collects operator information solely to operate the marketplace, process payouts, and connect you with customers. We do not sell your business data to third parties.

Who This Policy Covers
This Operator Privacy Policy applies to independent transportation operators who create an account on the VOYUS operator portal (operators.voyus.app), list vehicles or services through the VOYUS marketplace, or otherwise interact with VOYUS as a service provider on the platform.
If you are a customer using VOYUS to book transportation, the Customer Privacy Policy applies to you instead.
By using the VOYUS operator portal or listing services through VOYUS, you agree to the practices described in this policy. These practices are governed by and supplement the Operator Terms of Service.

Information We Collect
We collect information in several ways as you use the VOYUS operator platform:

Information Generated by Platform Use
- Booking records โ details of inquiries received, quotes submitted, bookings accepted or declined, and services completed.
- Performance data โ response times, cancellation records, customer ratings received, dispute history.
- Payout history โ records of disbursements processed to your account.
- Login and session data โ IP addresses, browser type, device identifiers, and access timestamps when you use the operator portal.
Information from Third Parties
- Publicly available business registry and licensing data used to verify your operating credentials.
- Insurance verification information from insurers or third-party verification services.
- Payment processor data related to payout transactions.

How We Use Your Information
VOYUS uses the information collected from operators for the following purposes:
Marketplace Operations
- Creating and maintaining your operator account and listings on the platform.
- Matching your listed services with relevant customer booking inquiries.
- Displaying your listings, vehicles, and rates to customers searching the marketplace.
- Facilitating booking confirmation and coordination between you and customers.
Payments & Payouts
- Processing customer payments for bookings involving your services.
- Disbursing your earned revenue via ACH payout to your registered bank account.
- Maintaining financial records for tax reporting purposes, including issuing required 1099 forms.
Compliance & Verification
- Verifying that you hold required licenses, permits, and insurance for commercial passenger transportation.
- Maintaining records required by applicable law and regulation.
- Investigating complaints, disputes, or potential violations of the Operator Terms.
Platform Improvement
- Analyzing aggregate, anonymized platform usage data to improve marketplace features, search algorithms, and operator tools.
- Monitoring platform performance, detecting fraud, and maintaining security.
Communications
- Sending booking inquiry notifications, confirmation messages, and payout updates.
- Communicating policy updates, feature announcements, and important platform notices.
- Responding to your support requests and questions.
No selling of your data. VOYUS does not sell your business information, vehicle data, or operational information to third parties for their own marketing or commercial purposes.

What We Share with Customers
When a customer books or inquires about your services, we share a limited, booking-relevant subset of your operator information:
Shared at Inquiry / Booking Stage
- Your business or DBA name (as listed on your operator profile).
- Vehicle type, passenger capacity, amenity descriptions, and listing photos.
- Your quoted rate for the specific booking request.
- Your general service area and availability for the requested date.
- Your average rating and aggregate review summary (once your account has reviews).
Shared After Booking Confirmation
- Operator contact information (phone number or email) sufficient for day-of-service coordination.
- Driver name and vehicle details (make, model, color, license plate) for the confirmed booking.
What We Do Not Share with Customers
- Your bank account or payout information โ never shared with customers under any circumstances.
- Your USDOT, EIN, or other regulatory identification numbers.
- Internal performance metrics or complaint records.
- Contact information beyond what is necessary for the confirmed booking.

Third-Party Service Providers
VOYUS works with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating the marketplace. These providers access operator information only as necessary to perform services on our behalf and are contractually required to protect it:
- Payment processors โ to process customer payments and disburse ACH payouts to your bank account. Bank account information is transmitted securely to payment processors under strict data handling agreements.
- Cloud infrastructure providers โ to host the VOYUS platform, databases, and file storage where operator accounts and listing data reside.
- Licensing and insurance verification services โ to confirm your regulatory credentials during onboarding and on an ongoing basis.
- Communication and notification services โ to deliver email notifications, booking alerts, and platform communications to your registered contact information.
- Analytics services โ to generate aggregate, anonymized insights about platform usage patterns (individual operator data is not disclosed in analytics reports).
VOYUS does not permit these providers to use your information for their own purposes beyond the services they provide to VOYUS.

Data Security
We take the security of your business and financial information seriously. VOYUS employs industry-standard security measures including:
- Encryption of data in transit using TLS/HTTPS for all platform communications.
- Encryption of sensitive data at rest, including bank account information.
- Access controls limiting employee access to operator data on a need-to-know basis.
- PCI-compliant payment processing โ VOYUS does not store full bank account numbers on our servers beyond what is required for ACH processing through our payment partners.
- Regular security assessments and monitoring for unauthorized access.
No system is perfectly secure. While we implement robust safeguards, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. If you become aware of any potential security concern related to your account, please contact us immediately at support@voyus.app.

Data Retention
We retain operator information for as long as your account is active and for a period thereafter as required for legal, regulatory, tax, and dispute resolution purposes:
- Active account data โ retained for the duration of your active operator account.
- Booking and transaction records โ retained for a minimum of 7 years after the transaction date to comply with financial and tax record-keeping requirements.
- Regulatory credentials (licenses, insurance) โ retained for the duration of your account plus 3 years after account closure, or longer if required by applicable law.
- Communication records โ retained for 3 years after the relevant booking or support interaction, or longer in the event of a dispute or legal hold.
- Account credentials โ deleted or anonymized within 90 days of confirmed account closure, subject to the above retention minimums for associated records.
After applicable retention periods expire, we delete or anonymize your data so it can no longer be reasonably linked to you or your business.

Your Rights & Choices
As an operator, you have the following rights with respect to your information held by VOYUS:
Access
You can access, review, and download most of your account information directly through the VOYUS operator portal. For information not accessible through the portal, you may submit a written request to operators@voyus.app.
Correction
You can update your business information, vehicle listings, contact details, and payout account information at any time through the operator portal. For corrections to records you cannot edit yourself, contact operators@voyus.app.
Account Closure & Deletion
You may close your operator account at any time by contacting operators@voyus.app. Upon closure, your active listings will be deactivated. We will retain transaction records and associated data for the minimum periods described in Section 7 above. Data retained solely for legal and tax compliance purposes cannot be deleted prior to the expiration of those retention periods.
Objection to Communications
You may opt out of non-essential marketing and promotional communications by using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us. You cannot opt out of transactional communications necessary to operate your account, such as booking notifications, payout confirmations, and policy update notices.
Portability
Upon request, we can provide your booking history and account data in a structured, commonly used electronic format. Submit portability requests to operators@voyus.app.
Response time: We will respond to verifiable account requests within 30 days. Complex requests may require additional time, in which case we will notify you.

Cookies & Platform Analytics
The VOYUS operator portal uses cookies and similar technologies to:
- Maintain your logged-in session while you use the portal.
- Remember your preferences and display settings.
- Collect aggregate, anonymized usage data to improve portal performance and features.
Essential session cookies are required for the portal to function. You may configure your browser to block or alert you about cookies, but doing so may impair portal functionality, including the ability to remain logged in.
We do not use third-party advertising cookies or share individual operator usage data with advertising networks.

Governing Law & Contact
Governing Law
This Operator Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
Changes to This Policy
VOYUS may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and notify registered operators by email and through an in-platform notice. Your continued use of the operator portal after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
